These were gorgeous!!! I first made them years ago and I’ve posted about them before. This recipe is probably my fav version so far!! These are a lovely weekend treat.
The basic recipe is this :-
35g of oats as your HEB
3 tbs of stevia of sweetener (you can add less if you don’t like things too sweet)
Spray a non stick baking tray with fry light and spoon out the mixture in to three cookies/biscuits.
Place in a pre heated oven at 200 degrees and bake for approx 10 minutes.
I added 1/2 tsp of ginger, a sprinkle of cinnamon, some blueberries and some drops of millionaire shortbread flavouring from cupcake world. Flavourings are syn free so you can play about with all the different varieties. Sw guidelines state that cooked ruin should be synned. Totally agree with this as a consultant as it’s very very easy to over consume fruit when blended or puréed. I’ve only added a small handful, 100g is 1 syn and there’s no where near 100g in here, so the syns would be negligible anyway. You can try adding a sachet of options or choc shot for chocolate cookies, or chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, or any other fruit. Exciting!!!
I had mine with some speed food berries and quark mixed with sugar free squash.
I’ve got a fab day planned!! I’m off on a lunch date with a sw friend then out later with my h2b for a date night. Well that’s the plan!! The footballs on though isn’t it, so we’ll see!! I really want to see that new film with the rock in too! Might save that for tomorrow. I always find if you want to stay on track over the weekend it takes a bit of planning. I’ve already decided what I’m eating today and how I’ll adapt it to be food optimising friendly. I’m also planning on not drinking much either! Wish me luck 🙂
