Make up!!

Hi everyone. It’s been a while since I’ve done a beauty blog. I have got to tell you all though about my recent finds!!!!!

I’ve always been a big fan of Mac make up. I can’t always stand the hoards of tennagaers though when I’m trying to buy some! I prefer now to order my mac stuff online instead! I’d been doing some Instagram research on bronzers. There’s a few amazing make up artists I follow on there and one was raving about a bronzer by Mac. I had to have it!! I usually use benefit hoola bronzer but fancied a change. It’s called give me sun, that’s exactly what it does!!! My h2b came home and said, “wow you look brown!!” Love it when a product delivers on it’s promise. He thought I’d had a sun bed or fake tan on. New fav!!!!! I also got some new eyeshadows in a reddy colour. So gorgeous for a change, one is called coppering and the other cranberry. I’d also been on the hunt for the perfect contouring powder. I’ve used tons of different ones now, cream ones, eyeshadow colours, brozners etc etc…… I read that mac baby don’t go was a brilliant contour powder. It is!!!!! I love it!!! It’s more of an ash tone, so ideal to contour. Totally hooked!!! I also finally got my hand on the mac lipstick called velvet teddy. Thanks to Kylie Jenner this is usually sold out everywhere!! I managed to find mine on eBay. The lip liner whirl goes amazing with it!! You can over draw your lips to make them look bigger, just like Kylie (or have your lips done just like Kylie!)

My next find is a recent one, a new mascara by loreal called mega volume, miss magna. I’ve tried every mascara you can think of, so far this is one of the best and mega cheap!!! It does pack a lot of the mascara on to the brush, make sure you scrap some off. Two coats and my lashes looked so long!!!! Was really impressed.

I’ve also found this brand of fake tan. I’ve not used it yet but I’ve read raves reviews on it!! I’ll keep you posted, I got the scrub pre prep, moisturiser and the tan in dark. It’s by cocoa brown.

If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to mac, NYX is really good!! I’m loving this lip liner in mauve and their matte nude lipstick. In usually wear red or a brighter pink but I really love this nude shade for a change. I’ve had a few compliments on it. More natural.

I needed some more make up storage. I’d spotted something on Instagram but when I googled it there were £100!! I found the same thing on eBay for just £14. Picture in the blog, it’s fab for nail varnishes, eyeshadows and lipsticks. It looks really cool too 🙂

I wanted to try a new under eye concealer too. I’ve got the mac one and a few others but my touché eclat had run out. I bought the new one by tropic. I never really know if I can see much difference with this sort of highlighting concealer but this one does seem to rally brighten up your under eye. I really like the brand, I’ve used their face cream and scrub before.

A few other things in the pics are just standard things I buy a lot.

Any questions just shout.

I’m currently trying to decide whether to have a make up artist for my wedding or just do my own!?! I know what products I love and I know how to make it look pretty decent, I’m worried I won’t get the right look if I use a mua, plus it saves money to spend on other things. We’ve already blown the budget!! I might pop to mac and book a bridal trail for recommendations on different colours. No doubt I’ll spend a fortune there anyway!!

Happy Fopping xx

Best ever spag Bol eesp stylie and blow drys

Two quick things to share, first food, second hair!!

Best – ever Bolognese with a fopperholic twist.

The classic Italian sauce has never tasted this good! It’s fantastic spooned over your favourite pasta with a generous grinding of black pepper. I choose to have it courgetti instead and a side salad for added speed foods.

Perfect for Extra Easy SP. Syn free.

Low calorie cooking spray

1 large onion, chopped

3 garlic cloves, crushed

400g lean beef mince (5% fat or less)

½ tsp dried chilli flakes

½ tsp ground cinnamon

1 heaped tbs dried basil

1 large carrot, grated or finely chopped

1 x 400g can of chopped tomatoes

200g passata

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Chopped fresh parsley

A crumbled beef oxo

Splash of Worcestershire sauce

A courgette

Tip: Add a little Parmesan grated over the top a delicious treat (1½ Syns per level tablespoon).

Spray a large pan with low calorie cooking spray and add the mince. Fry off and drain then add to a slow cooker, add the onion, then add the beef stock cube crumbled, the garlic, Worcestershire sauce, cinnamon, chilli basil, carrot, tomatoes, passata and tomato purée, season and leave on high for a fee hours or low if out all day.

Serve with plenty of courgetti and a green salad. Courgetti is just courgette spirilaized and pan fried in fry light for a few minutes.

Next best ever blow drys. Curly blow drys are in my opinion the ultimate way to have your hair!!! I’m obsessed with them. They make your hair really big and bouncy and the curls last for ages!!!!!! Mines still curly and full of volume the next day, the pics are the day after a blow dry, this was a natural loose curl one. The last pic is done by a curly blow dry expert and looks amaze!!! Really wish I could do them myself!!!! If you fancy a treat before a night out book yourself in!!!

Enjoy and Happy Fopping xx
